Activate OffRoad screen
(Read important note below)
1. Go to Module 5F(Information electronics)
2. Click on Adaptation
3. Search for Car_Function_Adaptations_Gen2
4. Enter menu_display_compass . Switch to On
5. Enter menu_display_compass_over_threshold_high . Switch to On
6. Enter menu_display_angle_of_slope . Switch to On
7. Enter menu_display_angle_of_slope_over_threshold_high . Switch to On
8. Press the Validate button. The code is 20103.
9. Go back to Adaptation and look for Car_Function_List_BAP_Gen2
10. Enter Compass_0x15. Switch to On
11. Enter Angle_Of_Slope_0x24 . Switch to On
12. Press the Validate button
13. Exit Adaptation, Return to Module 5F and click on Extended Coding .
14. (This step is only for those who do not have a browser , if you have a browser you can go to the next step). Without changing to the bytes mode, look for the byte_24_Navigation_System . Switch to On .
15. Press the Validate button
16. Restart the Infotainment by pressing and holding the power button between 10s to 15s and release.
Important note:
For those of us who do not have a navigator, the compass will not work because we do not have the GPS module, and when you do a bug scan with Obdeleven or any other cable you will always see a fault saying that the module is badly coded, it will even appear in the service official. This is a consequence of the modification of step 13 that is necessary to indicate (cheat) you as if we have a browser when we do not really have it. That this failure appears has no other consequences or causes malfunction or problems of any kind.
